Studio Days.

I don't think I have mentioned before that I am studying at Sydney College of the Arts. I am now back working in the studio and I forgot how right it feels! And while I will be the first to admit I have a bit of a love hate relationship with my painting, I am still there, so something is right!

I am truly enjoying this beautiful late summer we have been having in Sydney at the moment, it makes it so easy to spend days strolling along the harbour and just reading in the sun. At some point soon I shall make myself return to essay writing but for now I am allowing myself to enjoy being in a new part of Sydney.

This was a hot day, so this loose, light dress was perfect. I couldn't help sprucing in up by adding a beautiful floral silk scarf and an 'f' brooch.

Otter's in the Sea

Well my first two weeks back at university have been rather busy, hence why I have not been on here recently. I am enjoying being back though, having some sort of structure to my days again. Although I think everyone will always enjoy having days to oneself where they can frolic through a field of daffodils if they wish!!

This is another set of photographs taken earlier in the summer on a wharf near Darling Harbour where I used to live. I love where I am now, but when I look at these shots I do miss it a little.

I am going to see Anna Karenina tonight at an open air cinema. I am excited to see all the wonderful costumes.

Just what happens when you live in Sydney. Unfortunately there was a boat going past at the time..
Feel free to laugh. I certainly do.

Sun Sun Sun!

Well, here I am back in Sydney ready for a new year at uni. Unfortunately the weather now is not that sunny though. I was hoping that the summer would stretch out over the next few weeks, after my winter in London, but my weatherman tells me rain for the next month. That is not exactly what I had in mind!!

These photographs were taken before Christmas. The perfect flowy skirt and blouse for a hot day. Wearing flowers in your hair definitely keeps you cool I have decided!! I have recently moved house, so here I am exploring my new area.

My hair is all long again.

A spot o' lizard hunting...
